[edit]Early in his life Guzmán wanted to enter Menudo, but was unable to do it, eventually forming friendships with several former members. Nina Knight (violist)
Nina Knight enjoys a versatile career as a performer and pedagogue. Performance and teaching opportunities have taken her to concert halls and universities in the United States, Europe, and Asia.
In Houston, Texas, Dr. Knight maintains an active performance schedule. In recent years she has performed with the Madu String Quartet, the Kolonneh String Quartet, the Axiom Quartet (), Aperio-Music of the Americas, and the Texas New Music Ensemble. As a collaborative artist she has premiered works for string quartet, viola and piano, viola and cello, and viola and dance.
Her influential teachers include Wayne Brooks, Tania Maxwell Clements, Laurie Carney, and Beth Newdome. She plays on a viola made by Marengo Romanus Rinaldi (Turin,). Learn more:
