Dear parents/guardians,
The beginning of the new scholastic year is fast approaching. I understand that parents are still unsure about a number of issues and are therefore asking many questions. I will try to answer some frequently asked questions.
- When will school start? The first day of school will be staggered along a number of days. We will start with the upper years and move on with daily intake until we end up with the kinder intake. The days of staggered intake have not been confirmed yet. You will be notified via sms regarding the first day of school.
- What are the times of arrival and dismissal of students? Arrival and dismissal of students will be staggered. We will be making use of 5 entrances. 2 entrances in Triq Frans Sammut for kinder students, 2 entrances in Triq Sciortino for primary students and 1 entrance in Triq Sciotino for school transport. students will enter school between am and am, dismissal will be between pm and pm. (These times are subject to chang
- On the first day of school, Wednesday 27th September, students are to proceed to last years classroom. Then, the students will be called by this years teacher and go to their new classroom. Students who are new to the school, and so there were not with us last year, will be guided by the Assistant Heads.
- On Wednesday 27th September, Yr 1 students are to arrive at am from the main entrance in Triq Sciortino. There will be the Yr 1 teachers welcoming the students and they will proceed to their classroom together.
- You will be receiving directions about what stationery is needed to be brought to school during the first few days, so that the children will not carry a heavy load on the first day of school.
