Veeramachaneni Rajendra Prasad was an Indian film producer, director, and screenwriter known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema along with a few Hindi and Tamil films.[2][3] He received a National Film Award for Antastulu () and two Filmfare Awards for the films, Antastulu () and Aastiparulu (). He is the father of noted actor Jagapathi Babu.[4]
Death
[edit]V. B. Rajendra Prasad died on 12 January at Isha Hospital following a serious respiratory ailment. Doctors informed that it was a natural death.[4][5]

Gadde Rajendra Prasad (born 19 July ) is an Indian actor who predominantly works in Telugu films. He is a recipient of four Andhra Pradesh state Nandi Awards, three SIIMA Awards, and three Santosham Film Awards.
Prasad made his debut in with Sneham and gained recognition with Manchu Pallaki (). He then went on to star in several successful comedy films such as Rendu Rellu Aaru (), Ladies Tailor (), Aha Naa-Pellanta! (), Appula Appa Rao (), and Mayalodu ().[1] He received a Nandi Award for Best Actor for Erra Mandaram () and Aa Naluguru (). He has also received an Honorary doctorate from Andhra University.[2] I
