Mahatma Sadhu Sundar Das was a revered spiritual leader and missionary from Odisha, India. Born into a devout Hindu family in the late 19th century, he embarked on a spiritual journey that would ultimately lead him to embrace Christianity and become a fervent follower of Jesus Christ. His remarkable life story is chronicled in the Odia biography book “Mahatma Sadhu Sundar Das, v.01” by Krushna Mohan Sahu, first published in 1948.
Sundar Das, also known as Kujibara Patra, was a man of great faith and dedication. Despite facing opposition and ostracism from his community for his conversion to Christianity, he remained steadfast in his beliefs and continued to spread the message of Jesus Christ throughout Odisha and beyond. His unwavering commitment to his faith and his tireless efforts as a missionary earned him the respect and admiration of many, both within the Christian community and beyond.
