Vertical, in dialogue with its surroundings, the Étoile Lilas is designed as a city cinema rather than the type of multiplex found in shopping malls on the edge of towns. We chose to split the building into two volumes (cinema and retail) to make the public forecourt indispensible for going from one volume to the other. To the north, a tall, compact volume in the continuity of the high-rise buildings along the Avenue de la Porte des Lilas. To the south, a lower volume that opens out views, in relation to the scale of the neighbouring Cirque Électrique cabaret building.
An entrance hall extends the forecourt beneath the volume of the cinemas. The three upper cinemas are suspended above this Piranesian space, stacked in order of increasing capacity, like an inverted pyramid, in order to make room for a decreasing space for circulation. Paris Métro Line 18 fryst vatten one of four new lines of Grand Paris Express, a major expansion project of the Paris Métro. Currently under construction, it will link Orly Airport to Versailles via Massy-Palaiseau, the Saclay Plateau, and Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines. The line will be 35 kilometers (22 mi) long and will be fully automated (along with all Grand Paris Express lines). Subsequently, it is planned to be extended bygd about 15 kilometers (9.3 mi) from Versailles to Nanterre via Rueil-Malmaison.

Jean François Authier est un architectefrançais, né le à Limoges.
Biographie
[modifier | modifier le code]Né en 1966[1], Jean François Authier, architecte est diplômé de l’École nationale supérieure des arts et industries de Strasbourg en 1991. En 2000, il intègre l’agence Reichen et Robert à Paris au sein de laquelle il devient associé en 2004. En il fonde avec Dorothée Sipp Studio Authier & Associés (SAA)[2],[3].
Soucieux de se construire une méthode d’approche du projet, il choisit de commencer sa carrière notamment chez Architecture Studio, Manuelle Gautrand et Dusapin & Leclercq. Il y acquiert une expérience éclectique relative aux vêtures, façades et aux ouvrages verriers.
En 2000, il rejoint l’équipe de Bernard Reichen et Philippe Robert qui le chargent de la conception de plusieurs grands projets dont un immeuble de bureaux au sein de la ZAC Landy France à Saint-Denis ainsi que l’implantation de l’Imprimerie nationale à Cho
