    Gul Khan

    Gul Khan is one of the leading Indian Television producer, director and writer. She is the co-creative head and co- producer of 4 Lions Productions. She has written and produced many television soaps such as Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, which had 398 episodes and which was aired from 2011 to 2012.

    Her other works include TV series Qubool Hai, Miley Jab Hum Tum, Arjun: Har Yug Mein Ayega Ek, Humse Hai Life, Suvreen Guggal, Geet and Humsafar. As a director she has worked for Rishtey- Kashish (2000) and Qubool Hai. She was brought up outside of India and is married to Gorky Max.

    Gul Khan, the director of the streaming show 'Aashiqana 2', is of the opinion that the bigger the villain, the better chance a story stands to engage the audience with its narrative.
    The show sees a new unconventional antagonist in the form of a virus in its second season and the challenges for the lead characters of Yashand Chikki seem to be expanding manifold courtesy the new antagonist.
    Elaborating on the same, Khan said "I believe that crafting a villain for a story is as important as creating your hero. A hero is only as big as the villain he conquers. In Aashiqana Season 2, we wanted to explore an invisible threat and the powers that are wielding it for their gains."
