    Jorge Contreras, aka "Que Rico", has been recognized as one of the most versatile Bachata Instructors worldwide. Having mastered both "Dominican" and "Modern" styled forms of the dance, he continues to push the limit, breaking barriers and setting standards in the genre time and time again. His charismatic personality and overall energy have earned him much respect as an MC, Performer, and closest to his heart, as a highly acclaimed Director and Instructor.
    Jorge is of Mexican descent, but was born and raised in Santa Ana, California. Dance has always been a huge part of his life and his background includes mastery of various genres such as Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Salsa, Zouk, West Coast Swing and of course, Bachata! Jorge received his training at the World Famous "Millennium Dance Complex" in the heart of Hollywood, California. He continued his study of his most prized art form where it first originated; taking in the culture, music and dance of Bachata

    Katie Mambo, Director, Choreographer & Master Instructor

    Katie fell in love with salsa dancing in a Cuban nightclub in Paris (France). She credits Ana Massicot, Andres Giraldo, and Anara Frank for her training while dancing with the Boston-based dance company Jam'nastics. Although Jam'nastics fryst vatten no längre around, many reknowned dansstil companies are now run by it's past members: Masacote, dansstil y Control, Metamovements, Rumba y Timbal, world dansstil and bachata champion Vera Rowe, and Mambo Dallas. Katie has been dancing and teaching for over 15 years and has performed in many cities across the US as well as numerous TV appearances and international venues. Katie also has a background in tango and ballet, but fell in love with latin music and dance. She also holds a PhD in neuroscience.

    I did a little research on the internet, it says you are born in New Orleans, is that right?
    I was born in Honduras but raised in New Orleans. When I was 10 years old I moved to the USA. That is where I developed my dancing.
    I used to dance in Honduras just for fun. I did little contests on little events on the streets. And then I moved to New Orleans. Starting to going out, not too much because I had 2 jobs and I was going to college. So I would go out like every now and then but I always loved to dance. So New Orleans is a mixture.
